Tor you beat me to it I agree ith you about the Red and white springs at Glastonbury and about St Nectan's Glen as being sites of immense importance in terms of sacred water pilgrimages, but I'd also like to add our beloved Dozmary Pool to that list of Sacred Water. It's where I want my ashes scattered, there's something really eternal and otherworldly about that place too that stirs my soul, I think it's also the open land and the stillness of the quicksilver water, it's like a mirror, it's beautiful and I can see why authors of the Grail story wrote it in that Sir Bedivere the last man standing threw Excalibur here on dying King Arthur's request and the Lady of the Lake reached up to receive the sword again.

I live in the Wash area of Norfolk, and so i have the Sea close by, it always seems such a 'dirty' uncared for sea and i often energise some clean mineral water and take it down and put it in the water as part of a cleansing ceremony there. But i would like to tell you all about a beautiful natural spring called St. Helens Well situated near Santon Downham in the Thetford forest. I go there most Imbolc festivals to lay flowers, crystals and perform ceremony there and although i've never met anyone there i know lots of people visit as the willow tree's are festooned with crystals, ribbons, necklaces and even a sheep skull. I like to drum and chant and the energy here is just magickal. It is hard to find, off the beaten track and hidden down a dip in the land hidden by tree's, but with a pure heart and connection to nature, the Goddess with guide you there.

Saint Nectans Glen is located between Tingagel and Boscastle in North Cornwall, the river that goes through the sacred hole in the rock, carries on through the wood under the road, through many quartz rocks, down into Rocky Vally where there are two labyrinth's carved into the rock at an old disused water mill, one is from the Iron age, down into the sea.
This site is a truly wonderful one and very sacred in my life!! it is extreemly connected to mother earth goddess, and it is said this is where the Knights of the Round Table came to give offerings before they went on there journey in search of the Holy Grail, and then returned after "Failing." Every time i visit, i have to strip naked and jump in and it has been either the beginning of a Journey or the completion.. i could tell you a full on Dragon experience i had around this place another time,....

The white spring of Glastonbury, which has been newly opened up all the innards have been taken out as it has been run as a shop and cafe for many years, getting more and more damp and destroyed, it looks beautiful like an inside water fall, when it is finished it will be even more wonderful.
The White sping is said to be the Male spring of Glaston bury white representing the semen where as the female red spring the blood.
Gwyn at Neath's presence has been felt at this place and it has been seen as a portal to the underworld of the glastonbury Tor as that is where it is located, in the old days it would have been a scared waterfall, but like most of the sacred sites of glastonbury the church put a stop to that by building a water reserve, stopping any worship or connection to J of A or LOVE. One day it would be great if it was turned back into a waterfall...

The Chalice Spring... known as Glastonbury's Red Spring...
opened by Sir Edward Tudor Pole,
Joseph of Arimathea divined for this well 2000 years ago, the start of the Piscean age, the waters run red, symbolizing the blood of Christ and also the blood of womens menstrual cycles, this is why it is known as the womans spring and the white as the males spring.
